Fortem gain FTA Van Excellence Operator status

Van Excellence is a scheme designed by some of the best van operators in the UK, facilitated and managed by FTA to recognise excellence and improve operational standards. At its heart is the Van Excellence Code, which is a Code of Practice outlining 'what good looks like' in van operations. It is facilitated and managed by FTA to recognise excellence and improve operational standards. To receive this award Fortem have had to prove they demonstrate a high operational standard with all their fleet.

Fortem have been working hard to gain this accreditation, which proves that as a business they operate a fully compliant fleet and are also endorsed by their insurers.

Dean Ryan, Asset and Supply Chain Manager, said, “In total we’ve been working towards this accreditation for the last three years. There has been a lot of hard work and dedication gone into this exercise and we’ve had to show we have the correct processes in place to be recognised by the FTA. It is a fantastic achievement which shows our fleet is fully compliant.”
