Fortem is off to a Flying

Fortem has started 2017 flying out of the starting block and setting a firm pace against competitors with several bid wins.

Fortem’s strapline “people who care” rings true with their first win as a newly rebranded company – a property improvement works contract for the Derbyshire Constabulary. The contract is worth £340k and is scheduled to start on 1st February, running for 20 weeks.

This pilot scheme to refurbish 9 police stations across Derbyshire including the police headquarters provides the potential to improve another 74 stations across the county - with a total value of £8-£10m. This was a collaborative bid with support from the health and safety team and both internal bid teams, resulting in Fortem’s first win on the Efficiency East Midlands framework.

Fortem won this contract against one of their main competitors who are local to Derbyshire, offering a great morale boost for everyone at in the company as they begin work in this new sector.
