Fortem have partnered with Birmingham City Council (BCC) for over 16 years, providing a comprehensive range of services, including repairs, maintenance and 24-hour call-out services to over 20,000 properties across the city.

Our services also extend to capital improvement and decarbonisation works, including planned installations such as new kitchens, bathrooms and heating systems as well as preparing vacant properties for new residents.

We are proud to share a significant milestone in our ongoing partnership with Birmingham City Council: The installation of our 500th kitchen and bathroom.

To mark this achievement, we held a celebration event at Abdon Avenue, where we are currently carrying out a redevelopment project, aimed at improving energy efficiency and building quality across 415 flats within 32 blocks. The first phase of the project includes significant upgrades such as roofing, facade remediation, fire safety works, and full kitchen and bathroom refurbishments.

The event was held on 13th December and gave attendees the opportunity to engage with our teams, view sample installations, and explore the high-quality results of the work completed so far.

Chris Tredget, Chief Operating Officer at Fortem, shares:
“We are delighted to be celebrating the 500th kitchen and bathroom installation in Birmingham. This milestone is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, who have ensured high-quality delivery while minimising disruption for residents. These upgrades are part of a broader effort to create comfortable, modern homes, which also enhance the local community.”

This milestone reflects our shared commitment to improving local communities and elevating the quality of life for residents. Together, we are creating a better future for our communities in Birmingham.
