Refer IT provides clients with a line of sight to their customer and the real issues they face.
Refer IT is an innovative mobile application that allows Fortem’s workforce and client’s operatives to make the most of every visit to a property – capturing key information that supports clients to look after the interests of their asset and their customers.
The app allows an operative to take a photo of an issue and Artificial Intelligence (AI) assists the user to categorise what the issue is before sending the information to our SMART Hub.
Starting out with a very small test group of users, the app proved to be a success at allowing operatives to make more from visiting tenants, improving safety in local communities and reporting issues in real-time.
Refer IT has an intuitive interface allowing users to gather specific data and information very quickly before being sent to our SMART Hub where relevant information is filtered and forwarded onto our clients, including digital photos – all in line with GDPR. If residents are pictured in any images their faces are automatically blurred out with a blur bot.
From the operatives view there are four options to choose before going through a short series of steps to complete the referral sending the data to our SMART Hub. The four options are:
Property, where the operative can take a picture and report a property element which has become uneconomical to maintain and should be programmed for replacement
Communal, for reporting issues such as fire hazards
People, to report issues with residents such as safeguarding and wellbeing issues
Estate, for referring issues in the local area such as fly tipping, anti-social behaviour, vandalism, etc.
So far the app has been very beneficial for Fortem’s clients at capturing more information to ensure the safety of tenants and their homes.
