Fortem Solutions have begun works of full bathroom replacements to 8 Properties at Westfield War Memorial Village, Lancaster. This work is being done as part of Fortem’s latest contract with Guiness Partnerships.
Works completed have been designed to improve longevity of bathrooms in properties as well as improved energy efficiency in the homes that are being worked on. As well as fresh paint, new tiles and new bathroom appliances, we have also laid non-slip flooring to increase safety for vulnerable residents.
50% of all works have been completed so far with 100% customer satisfaction.
As part of the contract, social value activities have included:
- £130 sponsorship of the “Community Fun Day”
- Bi-weekly coffee mornings
- Memorial garden bench with flagging at the memorial village hall

The remainder of the works are due to take place throughout the coming weeks, and Guiness Partnerships, their residents and Fortem Solutions are looking forward to the outcome.
