Data

Leveraging data assets, intelligently and effectively

The use of data as a ‘value add’ for both the way that we operate our business and the service that we offer to our clients and partners has grown significantly in recent years, to the extent that we believe it has become a key factor in enabling Fortem to stand out from the crowd.

We leverage external data to provide our clients with intelligent asset management insights which, when aligned with regulated social housing metrics, are increasingly important in assisting with decision-making and asset management planning.

Our data insights are shared through partnership workshops that address industry challenges and explore ways to deliver services aligned with regulatory targets and best practices, while also sharing lessons learned from across the sector.

Our industry reports help clients benchmark themselves within the sector, providing opportunities to evolve service requirements and maximise performance.

We provide bi-annual reports to support clients' asset planning, optimise available resources, and ensure we are listening to the tenants voice.

Smart HUB

Providing insights to improve processes

Internally, through enhanced processes and effective data mining, we provide insights to support our internal processes; driving innovation whilst maintaining consistency across all branches and regions – which ultimately benefits both ourselves and our clients.

Our use of data makes Fortem more than simply a ‘transactional’ provider; it enables us to become even more of a value-adding partner.

Our data team is headed by our Director, Dan Churton, the latest appointment to the Fortem Board. Dan brings a wealth of experience from the commercial sector and from his role as Commercial and Transformation Director at Orbit Housing. He contributes deep industry knowledge and ensures our clients’ perspectives are represented in the Fortem boardroom.
