The communication from commercial, contracts to site level from start to finish of any operation is key to delivering a project on time and to budget, something that is in abundance within the Fortem team.

We have worked with the Fortem team for over six years. Their dedication to providing an excellent service is clear and evident. The relationship between both teams is amazing.

From challenges in design to challenges with site construction to challenges with data and certification their professional “can do” approach has meant that all hurdles have been overcome.

One of the most impressive things that we have achieved to date, is the creation of a truly integrated IT system with Fortem. This has removed all administration from the process, meaning everything can be managed from site.

There is no client-contractor divide.

Taking this apprenticeship was the best decision I could’ve made; it’s rewarding to be challenged and to see my skills grow, to learn new things every day, to know I’m breaking stereotypes, and to feel the respect of those around me as they see my hard work and dedication.

It’s been an absolute pleasure working with Fortem, and colleagues from around the business, to shape this programme so that it is ‘fit for purpose’ and easy for our colleagues across the business to manage.

I am continually impressed with the levels of ownership, responsibility and, above all, authenticity I have witnessed in the behaviours of so many colleagues. I wouldn’t be working anywhere else.

In all aspects of the project, Fortem looked to achieve multiple outcomes from works to reduce resident bills, improve thermal comfort, and drastically reduce the likelihood of damp and mould.

The house is really warm and I am saving money on my fuel bills. I am over the moon it looks so much better. The CLO was very helpful and answered all my concerns. The workmen always stopped their work to allow me and my family to go in and out of the house safely, they was all very considerate and approachable we could not fault them.

We are thrilled that Fortem has won a RoSPA Award and would like to congratulate them on showing an unwavering commitment to keeping their employees, clients and customers safe from accidental harm and injury.

My role in Social Value allows me to actively support and uplift the community, creating real, positive change for people in need. It’s incredibly fulfilling to know that mine and my team’s work directly contributes to making our local communities stronger.

Your CLOs are a real asset to your team it was a sheer pleasure working with them both. They have done an amazing job in gathering information about the tenants and the blocks which made discussions very easy and manageable
